After the course you should be able to...
- Describe the Web's growth and development, and significance / impact on today's society
- Describe and discuss current research in the subject area of Web Science
- Create and use web apis supporting the principles of REST (restful architecture)
- Describe and discuss the term Web of Things
- Create and describe applications supported by web standards and integrate these against IoT (Internet of Things)
Approach
- The course is divided into three parts
- Part 1: The web and Web Science - Examination by Essay (A - F)
- Part 2: Web technologies for data exchange and service discovery - Practical assignment (P or F)
- Part 3: Web Of Things - Project (P or F) and individual oral exam (A - F)
- Scheduled activities
- 5-7 Lectures / Guest lectures
- 1x2h/week tutoring

- 1 oral hearings at the end of the course
